Current Flow: 72 ft3/sec -- Fishing has been great on the Blue River below the Dam in Silverthorne as of 6-19. The water is up so Mysis have been productive for big fish. The trouble is landing them. Have a friend downstream with a BIG net. Other flies to use: Streamers, Pheasant Tails, Stones, WD-40's and more. Fishing outside of Breckenridge on the "Steps" has also been fishing well. Try small streamers, Stones, PT's, Copper John's and more. The Blue North of Silverthorne has been fishing good as well. Although it can be high and off color. Try PT's, Stones in brown and golden, Hare's Ears, Copper John's, Egg Patterns, San Juan Worms and more. For more information or to book your trip on the Blue River give us a call toll free at (888) 453-9171

Call Steamboat Fly Fishers in Steamboat Srprings for a current report 970 879-6552. Ask for Keith, he's the man. The hot weather should start the Steamboat run-off, but the tailwater might still be good.
